Jane Colden* is a deep reddish, brown, rich and warm.

• These silk ribbons are approximately 1.5m in length, which is a perfect length for tying on a bouquet, but if you require longer lengths you can easily stitch a few reels together

• Available in 3 widths - 2cm, 5cm, 8cm. Please note - the 2cm wide ribbons are cut slightly wider, this is to compensate for the natural ‘stretch’ in bias cut silk which can make them appear narrower than 2cm.

• We hand-dye and hand-cut these pure silk ribbons in our Somerset workshop

• Made from the finest habotai silk, to give a soft, flowing look, with a slight shimmery effect.

• All botanical dyes are handmade by us using plants we have sourced from the local area, reusing and recycling flowers and garden waste

• These ribbons are cut on the bias, so drape beautifully

• Supplied on handmade wooden peg and wrapped in tissue. You can choose to add on a natural Kraft gift box too

* Jane Colden (1724-1766) was the first woman in America to become a renowned botanist. Not only did she catalogue many plants, she illustrated them beautifully and added ideas for their medicinal use.
