Isabella Bird* is a pale, shimmery olive colour. The crepe de chine is a lovely textured silk, with softly frayed edges.

*Isabella Bird (1831-1904) was a remarkable 19th century woman who travelled extensively around the world all through her life. She wrote about her adventures in books which were based mainly on her letters to her sister. These books were widely read and were illustrated with her own wonderful photographs.
