I'm very fond of Champagne, fizzy, classy, makes a normal day an occasion! This ribbon does all of those things and is the colour of the wondrous drink, pale beigey/pinky.

• These silk ribbons are approximately 1.5m in length, which is a perfect length for tying on a bouquet, but if you require longer lengths you can easily stitch a few reels together

• Available in 3 widths - 2cm, 5cm, 8cm. Please note - the 2cm wide ribbons are cut slightly wider, this is to compensate for the natural ‘stretch’ in bias cut silk which can make them appear narrower than 2cm.

• We hand-dye and hand-cut these pure silk ribbons in our Somerset workshop

• Made from the finest habotai silk, to give a soft, flowing look, with a slight shimmery effect.

• All botanical dyes are handmade by us using plants we have sourced from the local area, reusing and recycling flowers and garden waste

• These ribbons are cut on the bias, so drape beautifully

• Supplied on handmade wooden peg and wrapped in tissue. You can choose to add on a natural Kraft gift box too

*Christine de Pisan was a poet and author in fourteenth Century France. She was a noblewoman who supported her family by her work after the death of her father and husband. She wrote poetry and literature that explored the status of women within society and examined how they were shown in literature, and also profiled leading female figures from history and advanced the idea of gender equality.
