Caroline Herschel* is warm, pale, coppery hue, with a muted rusty feel. The crepe de chine is a lovely textured silk, these ribbons are 5cm wide with softly frayed edges.

*Born in 1750 in Germany. Caroline Herschel moved to Bath with her astronomer brother where she became his housekeeper and assistant. She began to make her own discoveries, including several comets. She received a pension from King George III for her work and was awarded a gold medal by the Royal Astronomical Society. She died at the age of 98.
